This hotel is said to be haunted by a ghostly woman who reportedly hanged herself here in the 1800's. She is said to appear to modern-day visitors looking through the windows of allegedly-vacant rooms.

By Myself But Not Alone

While traveling for work, i needed to get some rest. All the lodges in the area were full except for one room in the Union Hotel. The manager stated it hadn't been remodeled and they weren't giving that room to anyone. However, i could stay there. So i did.
As i entered the room it smelled musty and dark. There was a Victorian Upholstered Bench on one side of the room. While i was changing, i noticed the bench cushion started to have a depression as if someone was sitting down. Except i didn't see anyone.
I ignored what i saw, thinking it wasn't anything. So i got into bed and went to sleep. Around 3 am, i started to feel something getting into the bed. Next, an image of a man dressed like he was from the late 1800's, was on top of me. He was not heavy as i could see through him.
After a short while, his spirit disappeared.
(I was hesitant to talk about this all these years . But after i read more history of the hotel, it made sense. Note: i have never experienced anything like this before.)

Creepy Feel

I've been here twice and will be back again October 2016. This place is creepy as heck. I'm hoping to do an actual investigation here this time around.
