Claremont Hotel Club and Spa

This site once contained a castle-like home in the late 1800's but it burned down in 1901. The hotel opened up in 1915 and it is believed to be haunted. People say they can smell smoke in their smoke-free rooms and on the fourth floor, which is said to be the most haunted, witnesses have reported flickering lights and TV's that turn on by themselves. A ghostly little girl is said to be the culprit, who died here at just 6 years old, either in the hotel or in the fire. Her favorite room seems to be Room #422 and her apparition has been spotted.
