Got married here.

When we first checked the place out, which btw you can stay the night there in, the events coordinator Ricky asked us if we were wanting to have the wedding there because it's haunted... which took us by surprise. We told him we didn't know that. He then proceeded to tell us of the haunting. That 1) he lives in one of the rooms above the dining area and somtimes wakes up to seeing a women in old Victoria garmets looking out the window. 2) one of the rooms upstairs has a little boy and girl who live in the ceiling(?). So regardless of all this, we booked the venue. We didn't tell any if the guests. So day after wedding, those that had booked a room were filing outside packing their cars to keave. My sisters husband who is very religious was unusually quiet. She then goes on to tell me that the night before they were in bed and he looked down and saw a blue ball of light come from under the door, hover for a couple of seconds, then slowly go back under. My wife and i were so preoccupied that i never thought to ask which rooms our guests were staying in. Regardless, had a great time. Place is in need of some work but it's a charming place. Oh and the food was amazing.

Absolutely terrifying!

I stayed here in 1998. I was not told anything about the place being haunted, but it felt "creepy" as soon I walked in. My husband and I were given a room in the turret area that had what looked like a risen platform in the room with a bathtun on it. To the left of the bathtub was small room with a toilet and sink. After dinner, we went to bed and were watching TV. I got up to use the toilet, and there was an open window in the toilet room. When I got up to walk out, something shoved me, really hard, toward the open window, and then laughed. Shocked, I turned to run out but got only a few steps before I froze stiff. I was literally scared stiff. I wanted to move, and I was terrified, and my heart was pounding, but I coulfn't move and I couldnt scream. I was frozen there for what seemed like at least 15 minutes, until I was able to muster enough strength to move myself, and I ran to teh bed, hiding under the sheets crying and shaking violently. My husband thought I was nuts, until thje following morning when we were at the desk checking out and I told the manager what had happened. He said, "Oh wow, you saw her?" Apparentlly, one of the owners had died violently in the room we'd slept in. Other people have claimed to have seen her staring out from the window in our bathroom that she tried to push me out of. Just thinking about it makes me shake. It was terrifying.
