Scary Dairy is the nickname for this now ruined building that was once the Camarillo State Hospital, which operated from 1936 to 1997. Stories say the former mental hospital was either a slaughterhouse or dairy, and it is believed to be the site of several murders, which may be the reason why so many think it's haunted. The property is now part of the California State University, Channel Islands.

Dairy was used by the mental hospital to help patients by letting them tend the cows and milk them. One guy flipped out--took a pitchfork and killed three patients and a psych teck. They got him and gave him electro-shock therapy to calm him down but he died ! Now he haunts the place.
