The Southern Campus of this rehabilitation center is now abandoned but was once a recovery center for those with the Spanish Flu. Victims were buried nearby in a field along with victims of Polio, the 1933 Long Beach earthquake, a 1930's flood, and a secretary who jumped to her death. Full-bodied apparitions have been spotted in this area.

  • Def haunted

When I went I made it into the medical building. It was quite large with one large main room and several offices. In the Big main room it has stainless steel operating tables scattered everywhere. Wall to wall shelves of glass drug bottles with typewriter labels. I was going through autopsy files and looking at X-rays in a smaller room when the door suddenly slammed shut with such force I almost peed my pants lol! Unfortunately I was picked up by police while making my way to the main building.

  • Eerie and disturbing feeling

This place is honestly very disturbing to say the least. Theres a aura of eeriness that you can feel as soon as you go to the place. Theres many claims of silhouettes on the premises but I have yet to experience a phenomenon. Would recommend exploring with multiple people due to incase of a homeless attack or anything of that nature. There are security around the building so watch out and night time would be the best to go and experience/ explore the area!

  • Saw a doctor

I saw the doctor in the mirror in one of the bathrooms. It was not in the main building. It was in one of the dorms I think. It was one of the smaller buildings. I saw the doctor in the mirror in one of the bathrooms. It was not in the main building. It was in one of the dorms I think. It was one of the smaller buildings. I saw that when I was like 1513 years ago. he was wearing a lab coat. He had a stethoscope and he was old with white hair. Also, I don’t know if it is still off-limits, but it was when I went there years ago and I almost got arrested. Also, there’s a stove in the doorway on the second floor of building 127. I touched that stove and everything went red. All I saw was red and my friend happen to take a picture of me while I was touching the stove and I was outlined in red in the picture. The picture was lost with MySpace when they shut down

  • Hostile Precence

A friend, my brother and me went after 10PM to explore and in search of paranormal activity. we had a horrible most scariest experience... we heard a baby cry in the main building, my girlfriend froze and almost did not snap out of a wired trance - my brother was speechless, my girl started to cry for some reason... we had to leave as fast as possible due to very loud noises and very odd feelings by all of us... never will go again... but did experience something incredible...

  • Under surveillance

Went there with my brother and its fenced off and guarded by sheriff's. Go at your own risk, but I dont recomend breaking in. Has a vibe that makes me look into getting a permit to check it out. Its said each building has suffered much damage during fires and rain. Not much upkeep and almost or every building has asbestos.
