El Adobe de Capistrano - Real Haunted Place
El Adobe de Capistrano is a Mexican restaurant in San Juan Capistrano. The restaurant dates back to 1948 and is a California Historical Landmark. It is located inside a building composed of two historic adobes and was a favorite spot of U.S. President Richard Nixon. The restaurant sits atop the town's old jail and it has been said that a former prisoner haunts the wine cellar, which was converted from a jail cell.
