Bodie State Historic Park - Real Haunts in Bridgeport CA

Located in Mono County, The Bodie State Historic Park offers 500 acres for about 75 miles southeast of Lake Tahoe. Bodie is an old Gold Rush-era ghost town that features more than 100 structures that still stand today. And rumor has it that the spirits of prospectors still remain as well.

The park has a history of manisfestations, including the apparation of a white mule and at least 12 human spirits. Then there's "The Ghostly Posse" who are known to help the rangers of the park. Anyone who visits the historic park and leaves with a souvenir is known to be at risk of the curse of Bodie. They watch over this as the rangers can't be everywhere at all times. (Taking any souvenirs are against park regulations).
