Rancho Guajome Adobe
Vista, CA 92083
The Guajome Ranch House is an authentic 1850s adobe hacienda that features 28 rooms throughout a 7,000 square foot space. The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and once served as the headquarters of Rancho Guajome, a Mexican land grant. It now operates as a museum and is believed to be quite haunted.
Rumor has it that the home is haunted by a former owner, Ysidora, who's ghost has been heard crying near the chapel. There has also been reports of a male figure spotted on the grounds. Some say it is the ghost of the skeleton that was found in the walls during a 1970s renovation.
