City of Industry presents “Hells Gates”

Within Haciend Heights deep in Turnbull Canyon, facing the City of Industry, lies Hell’s Gates. Plagued with reports of satanic worship, cult meetings, and skeletons of “unbaptized babies,” Hell’s Gate has long been locked off from the outside world. For years, rumors about the original property owner, Robert Turnbull, and his family’s involvement with satanic worship have circulated the region, leaving ghost hunters and conspiracy theorists obsessed with unraveling the mysteries of his secluded hillside property.

Despite records detailing the birth of Robert and Agnes’s eight children, no documentation exists of the children beyond their birth. Many neighbors of the Turnbull’s say they never saw the kids, and only occasionally witnessed the family’s black 1965 Buick Special leaving the property, fueling further rumors and suspicion of conspiracies. In 2010, the property was sold by Robert Turnbull’s grandson, Elias Turnbull and his wife, Agnes. Following the sale, Elias and Agnes purchased a property near the Industry Hills Expo Center.

Many residents speculate that the Turnbull family still partakes in satanic worship at their new residence in Industry Hills. Locals often report strange chanting sounds rising from the gated property once a month at the quarter moon, a time known for its ritualistic properties. Believers say that when there is a half-moon, a passage is opened between the living world and the netherworld, creating a gate to hell. Today, rusted chains and barbed wire secure the gate shut, blocking the view of what lies beyond.

A group of researchers from the Paranormal Assignment Research Association (P.A.R.A) have secretly set out to investigate the paranormal activity claims at the Turnbull property. With the first quarter moon set to rise on October 21st and 22nd, researchers plan to use the Association’s newest technology to detect paranormal wave activity and investigate the conspiracies surrounding Hell’s Gate. Join them if you date to see for yourself if the Hell’s Gate portal opens and what lies beyond…
