Thousand Oaks, CA - January 13, 2016 - Janss Marketplace, located on the northwest corner of Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks invites the public to a scary event that will help a child in need make a wish.

The annual Reign of Terror Haunted House will open for just one night in February on Saturday the 13th from 7:00 - 11:00 p.m. at the Janss Marketplace to raise money for Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties.

Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions to bring hope and joy into the lives of children. According to a survey conducted by the TCC group, 89% of medical professionals believe a wish can improve a wish kid's physical health. The Janss Marketplace, Conejo Recreation & Park District and the Reign Of Terror Haunted House believe they can help make a difference by reaching out to the community of Haunters, Halloween enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys a unique and entertaining experience.

The founder of the haunted house, Bruce Stanton, said, "We heard about all the wonderful things Make- A-Wish does in our community and we decided we needed to support this cause."
Stanton hopes to raise enough funds for three local wishes.

The Reign of Terror is a classic walk-thru themed haunted house featuring elaborate sets, props, lighting and sound effects which combine live actors with animatronics to create realistic and intense frights. The haunted house began as a small event at Stanton's home. It quickly became a popular attraction that turned into the Reign of Terror. Reign of Terror is now a nationally recognized haunted house offering over 15,000 square feet and 82 plus rooms of pure freight entertainment.

This is a unique opportunity to make a difference while enjoying a scary good time in one of Southern California's best haunted house experiences. Saturday, February 13 is the ONLY date the Janss Marketplace Reign of Terror Haunted House will open its doors before its annual Halloween dates. Mark your calendars and enjoy a haunted house experience you will not soon forget.

General admission tickets are $17 and VIP tickets, offering reduced wait time in line, are $25. The ticket booth opens at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 13. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.rothauntedhouse.com. At least 95% of the ticket proceeds will go towards Make-A-Wish Tri- Counties. Additional donations are always welcome and will be accepted at the Reign of Terror ticket booth on Saturday, February 13 during the event.

Join the Janss Marketplace, the Conejo Recreation & Park District & the Reign of Terror in supporting Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties.
