Have you been to Pirates of Emerson - The Haunted Fields? Then share photos of your experience!

We are completely unlike the traditional haunted house; we have taken this to a much, much higher level. At our Dark Adventure, we have created an environment where you are actually in the scenes. We have made extensive use of special effects, robotics, animation and interaction. While we do have the obligatory scream in your face areas - they are relatively small.

What started out as a small group of friends with a few props in a backyard has grown into a major commercial attraction covering almost a 3 acres. We now have a crew of approximately 75, including those building props and scenes, as well as good old-fashioned working ghouls.

Some of the animation may be a bit intense for those of an impressionable age and we do not recommend our attraction for those under 13 years old. We do not use blood and guts for effect, (well not very much), but after experiencing the Adventure you will never miss them. This is an extremely scary event.

We can't tell you when the lines will be the shortest, but historically the first part of the season will be slower and weekdays are slower than weekends.
No matter who you know, or say you know, no one will be allowed preference in line or gain early admittance. First come first served!
(well, except those who purchase tickets on line, or those with a Speed Pass ticket, or those...)

  • Best haunt I've ever been to

I love Halloween and have been to many haunted houses all over the west coast. This is the BEST. Travel channel even says so. Real people, real scares. Only thing I could suggest is come in earlier in the month rather than later. The later in the month, the longer the lines.

  • A good fright

There was a lot going on and a ton of patrons. Seemed more like we were all being shuffled around, The scenes were very interesting and had relevant props. I am a gore lover and there was plenty of it . I wish there was more time between the traffic of people in and out to enjoy the elements of each area that were thoughtfully put together by the artists and actors.
